Kate Middleton and Prince William reportedly hosted Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt for tea at Kensington Palace

According to Us Weekly, the couples “discussed their shared interest in combatting the illegal wildlife trade.”

The magazine added that Kate and William’s son Prince George, nearly 2 years old, was present at their meeting. The Jolie-Pitt children didn’t join their parents at the Palace.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge received a gift from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in honor of the birth of their daughter Princess Charlotte, who will be 2 months old on July 2.

The Oscar-winning actress was awarded back in 2014 with the honorary title Dame Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George by the Queen for her humanitarian work.

It was the first meeting for the two couples.
